Board of Trustees & Staff
At a Bi-Annual Election meeting, general members of the CASID elect seven (7) of their own to serve on the Board of Trustees for a two year term. It is the responsibility of the Trustees to govern the CASID organization and its mission to further the economic and social revitalization occurring in Jersey City. Elected trustees volunteer their valued time with NO monetary compensation. They do, however, take pride in fulfilling their obligation to care for Jersey City as good neighbors.

David Diaz
District Manager
EmailThe duty of the District Manager is to implement the initiatives set forth by CASID’s elected board of trustees. As a first generation Cuban-American and native of Jersey City, New Jersey, David Diaz grew up developing a passion for urban environments, main street communities, and diverse cultural heritage. He earned a bachelor's degree and Certificate in Planning from Florida State University where he studied urban policy and architectural design. David has continued to assist the needs of the CASID Management Corporation and its members since the fall of 2002.
