Administrative Services
The CASID office isn't just an office; it's a solution center for current businesses, prospective businesses and the neighboring community. All the administrative services provided by CASID staff are focused on maximizing the benefits the organization offers to its members and Jersey City as a whole.
CASID's Administrative Office
Even though administrative services like bookkeeping and office management provide an important foundation for what any organization does, they never take precedence over programs that directly benefit Central Avenue's stakeholders. CASID staff efficiently manage their time to limit administrative work, thus allowing them to focus on programs such as streetscape maintenance, marketing initiatives, public relations, special events, advocacy, and assisting the local neighborhood and business community. Approximately 75% of staff time is dedicated to initiating and executing these programs, versus only 25% for routine administrative tasks.
While many small organizations outsource services like graphic design, website maintenance, public relations, human resources, marketing campaigns and event planning, the small office staff of two are able to provide nearly all aspects of these services in-house. This allows CASID to stretch every dollar provided by members' assessments and offer programs tailored to the needs of the district.
